Autofagia y propiedades emergentes del metabolismo celular: un enfoque sistémico.
Nos centramos en los procesos y propiedades emergentes que definen los entornos celulares -particularmente el metabolismo carbono/nitrógeno y el estado redox- y su relación bidireccional con la autofagia. Consideramos la autofagia como parte integral del sistema de endomembranas interconectado y exploramos cómo estos entornos modulan la actividad autofágica y, recíprocamente, cómo su alteración impacta sobre dichas propiedades. Estudiamos tanto macroautofagia como microautofagia en Arabidopsis y Glycine max, con especial énfasis en su papel en interacciones simbióticas con rizobios.
